A bit of reading

So in addition to all the typical pregnancy books I have been reading, yesterday I borrowed two books from the Higashi-Osaka Library.

The first Growing up with two languages is a guide to raising kids in a bilingual environment...

And the second It sucked and then I cried deals with post-partum depression...

I have started the second book already, and am quite interested. I love books about human psychology and the first few chapters deal very honestly with many of the emotions (and other symptoms) felt by pregnant women. It doesn`t seem to be overly serious (yet), so this may be one of the more lighthearted novels devoted to post-partum depression. The author (Heather Armstrong) writes a blog too, so even if you don`t want to read the book, you can still learn about her life, her family and her struggles with depression here.
